Exhibition of Paberitski

THOSE LIVING ON THE VERGE OF DISAPPEARANCE

Merike Paberits (b. 1988), also known as Paburitski, is familiar to many from the bands Black Bread Gone Mad and Nikns Suns. Her creative work has now taken a new direction: instead of the flute and bagpipes, her main means of expression are paper and an ultra-fine ink pen.

This exhibition presents works depicting species belonging to different protection categories in Estonia. Their lives are fragile, and their future depends on a delicate balance that humans often disturb without even noticing.

The exhibition invites viewers to pause and take notice—not only to see nature as something beautiful, but to experience it as a living and vulnerable whole. Every species, every sound, and every trace forms part of a story that may remain untold unless we learn to notice and protect it.

The original drawings were created with an ink pen on paper. The exhibition features high-resolution giclée prints of these works.

The exhibition opens on Thursday, 1 October at 5 p.m. Admission is free.
